Ms.
Mahalaxmi Shrestha, is responsible for
overall management of the organization including co-ordination of
its projects/ activities. She is co-ordinating various activities
related to beekeeping promotion, training, research, quality
assurance and marketing of bee products being carried out by the
organization.
She
is Msc. in Botany and M.A. in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal
and have undertaken various national and international training related to beekeeping specifically in Honey quality, chemical and microscopic analysis of Honey; Bee disease diagnosis and treatment;
Plant Micropropacation and Transformation; Food analysis and packages etc.
Her

She
is associeted in professional societies as General Secretary to executive committe in ApiNet-Nepal; as Member in Asian Apiculture Association (Japan); as Member in Women in Science and Technology (Nepal) and as Member in Nepal Botanical Society (Nepal)
